- I have three questions.
-
- 1) is the following cable a good null-modem cable?
- 2->3, 3->2, 4->5, 5->4, 6->20, 20->6, 7->7, 8->8
-
- (or: TXD->RXD, RXD->TXD, RTS->CTS, CTS->RTS, DSR->DTR, DTR->DSR, GND->GND
- CD->CD)
-
- 2) while disassembling some old cables, I discovered that the the cable
- connecting my PC to a Tornado modem was a point-to-point cable -- does
- that mean the modem takes care of the `crossing' itself?
-
- 3) I thought I had a question, but no ;)
